This gas consists of
93% ARGON 5% CO2 AND 2% OXYGEN
Argon +5 is good to use for up to 7mm thick mild steel and will help you to produce a professional finish with minimum levels of spatter producing a far better finish than co2 alone and requiring less clean up of the weld and surrounding area. The Oxygen helps to stablize the arc and the CO2 is to provide the required depth of weld all without porosity. Uses include vehicle bodywork chassis and sheet steel work etc.
Aluminium and Stainless steels require Argon Pure gas!
