Argon +5 is good to use for up to 7mm thick Mild steel and will help you to produce a nice pooling of weld with minimum levels of spatter producing a far better finish than co2 alone thus requiring less clean up of the weld and surrounding area. The Oxygen helps to stablize the arc and the CO2 is to provide the required depth of weld all without porosity!Uses include vehicle bodywork, chassis and all manor of metal products made from steel!
